Future Home of The Spartanburg Soup Kitchen
The Spartanburg Soup Kitchen held it's groundbreaking ceremony on Monday, July 18, 2011 for the SSK's new location at 136 S. Forest St. This 10,000-square-foot facility will feed up to 350 people at one time, and will include a full-service kitchen and office space. Thanksgiving 2011 is the target date for the move to the new facility.
The SSK has $500,000 in cash on hand for the renovations, but we still need to raise $400,000 to complete the project. Please consider a tax-deductible gift to help us reach our goal!
