ADVANCE AMERICA DONATES $25,000 TO BUILDING FUND
On August 4, 2010, Advance America presented a gift of $25,000 to help fund the construction of our new facility. Advance America employees graciously delivered the donation and served lunch to our guests as part of their "Advance America Week,” during which employees are encouraged to volunteer and give back to the communities that Advance America serves.
Soup Kitchen Director Lou Landrum said, "We are so blessed to accept this gracious gift from Advance America. Not only has Advance America offered us their financial support, but they also gave their time and helping hands as well. We are thrilled."
